Information on the processing of personal data on www.domovena.sk · Effective from 1 January 2027
This document explains which personal data we collect when you use the website www.domovena.sk (contact form, cookies, e-mail and phone communication), why we use it and what rights you have. The processing of personal data within the brokerage of a sale, purchase or rental of a property itself is governed in detail by the binding documents Information on the processing of personal data (PDF, in Slovak) and Notice of data subject rights (PDF, in Slovak). In the event of a conflict, those documents prevail.

We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data.
2. Which data we process on the website
Contact form
When you submit the form we process: your name, e-mail, phone number, property type and the service you are interested in, preferred date, city and street (if provided), the content of your message and, where applicable, the indicative price estimate generated by the calculator. The form also contains a hidden technical field protecting against automated submissions (spam); regular visitors never see or fill it in.
E-mail and phone
If you contact us directly by e-mail or phone, we process the data you provide during that communication.
Cookies and technical data
When you visit the site, cookies are stored in your browser and the web server logs standard technical data (IP address, browser type, time of access). Details are in the Cookie Policy. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent, which you can change at any time via the Manage consent link in the footer.

4. Retention period
- Website enquiries that do not lead to a contract — no longer than 12 months after the last communication.
- Data of clients with a brokerage agreement — for the duration of the agreement and thereafter for the period required by specific legislation (in particular accounting and tax law, generally 10 years).
- Cookie consent — the setting is kept in your browser for 12 months, or until you change it.
5. Recipients
We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Recipients may only be:
- our web hosting and e-mail service provider (technical processing of form data and e-mail communication),
- cooperating real estate agents, a lawyer, notary, appraiser, bank or financial intermediary — solely to the extent necessary for the transaction you requested,
- our external accountant and IT administrator,
- public authorities where required by law,
- providers of analytics and marketing tools (Google, Meta) — only if you have consented to the respective cookies.
6. Transfers to third countries
We process personal data within the European Union. A transfer outside the EU/EEA may only occur in connection with analytics or marketing tools (e.g. Google, Meta) after you have given consent, on the basis of standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
7. Your rights
- the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR),
- the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
- the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten", Art. 17 GDPR),
- the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR),
- the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal,
- the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, dataprotection.gov.sk (or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence).
You can exercise your rights by e-mail at info@domovena.sk or in writing at our registered office. We will respond without undue delay and at the latest within one month.
8. Security
The website is served exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Form data is sent directly to our e-mail and is not stored in a website database. Only authorised persons have access to the mailbox and internal records.
9. Automated decision-making
We do not carry out automated individual decision-making or profiling with legal effects. The indicative price calculator and the mortgage calculator run only in your browser; their result reaches us only if you send it yourself via the contact form.
10. Changes to this document
We may update this document from time to time. The current version is always published on this page together with its effective date.
